Murmurs of agreement with this sentiment came from several other girls, most loudly Mackenzie and Nancy. This only made me more perplexed, as the only dress codes I could think of being a problem now that I was included were far too lewd to be possible in a high school class.
Hearing the complaints that the dress code was now unreasonable with my inclusion, Ms Skye's face went from warm and smiling to disappointed. This quickly sent a wave of unease through the girls, and it was obvious that they hated upsetting their teacher.
